Pho Family

Pho is the most well known, the most renowned and by far the most loved meal in Vietnamese cuisine and culture. It is made of the best ingredients and is the staple of Vietnamese cooking. Therefore it is only fitting that Pho; Family too lives up to that same billing in VSU. All of the other families simply pale in comparison to our incredibly amazing family and our wonderful kids because we are just that Đặc biệt!

Papa Bear (aka Pho Xe Lua) says: You are now reading the words of one Daniel Pham. San Francisco is where I’m from, but I was born and raised in San Jose. I am a veteran of the Marine Corps in which I served 5 years, but anyone that knows me knows that I’m a calm cool and laid back guy. I’m a 4th year transfer studying Poli Sci here at UCLA. I enjoy a lot of cinema, come by and check out the collection some time. LA is the place to be and I love all the sports teams around here; Lakers, Clippers, Galaxy, and the Oakland Raiders! If you ever want business handled, you know where to go because that is what I do. We have a lot awesome events planned for this year, so come out and show your support! It’s going to be... legendary!

Mama Bear says: Hello Everyone! I'm Cecilia Ngo and one of the parents of the great Pho Family. I'm a 3rd year Sociology major reppin the 626! San Gabriel Valley yea-uh haha. I'm pretty laidback and I loveee to smile and laugh. Music is amaazing and i have an extremely wide range of music. Chillaxing, sleeping, singing like a fool, and eating are some of my favorite past times. Fave food is ice cream, Fave color is torquoise. And I tend to be undecisive. That's a lot of info, but if you want to know more just ask =]
p.s. you know PHO is the BEST noodle, so join the BEST family evaaarr!!

This all leads to one question: Can Pho Family bring a fun and fulfilling experience to VSU that is as rich and as satisfying as the delicious Pho broth! YES WE CAN!

Bun Family

VSU Bún Family 08-09 Parents: Timmy and Cindy Bún Wikipedia: Rice vermicelli are thin noodles made from rice, sometimes also known as rice noodles or rice sticks. They should not be confused with cellophane noodles, which is another type of vermicelli.

What We've Done: So far we've had a dinner-out together, and a movie night together during the Fall Quarter. Hopefully during the Winter Quarter we can pay a visit to somewhere in downtown LA or go ice skating together.

What We Hope: Provide a family of friends that can hang out with each other and relax, and perhaps help each other out every once in a while. By sharing our experiences, our humor, and our presence.
