Internship

Consciousness, Creativity, and Community. Getting past the alliteration and rhetoric, these words mean more than how good they sound together. They not only embody the goals of this year's VSU Internship, but also foreshadow the growth of 8-10 potential interns. VSU's Internship provides a safe home to future leaders to delve deeper into their identity and history and understand how it affects them as an individual today. Along with learning more about and finding relevance to current issues, interns will also have the opportunity to regularly challenge their creative skills and become directly involved in the planning process of some of VSU's largest events. The ultimate outcome of this internship is to develop strong critical minds that feel the social responsibility to give back to the community.

Interns will have a chance to:
- Meet VSU alumni and other active community members on campus
- Get more exposed to various means of activism and advocacy through artistic expression
- Create their own final project at the end of the year
- Learn more about and work directly with VSU's projects HOPE and SEA CLEAR
- HAVE LOTS OF FUN!
